The Army Families Federation has recently urged ALL forces personnel to make a Will with proper legal advice. They are seeing an increasing number of cases where bereaved families are struggling because the military Will was not detailed enough.
Whether your Will is basic or complex, we will prepare it quickly and expertly. If your estate is substantial, we can advise on suitable structures and also ways of mitigating Inheritance Tax on your death. You can use a Will Trust to protect assets for beneficiaries if you are concerned about the money being used for the wrong things, or, if you are not sure exactly how to distribute your estate, then you can leave the decision to trustees to make in the light of future events. We act as executors and store clients’ Wills.
In addition if you are going on operations and need to give someone power to manage your finances while you are away we can prepare the right Power of Attorney and advise on the ongoing responsibilities of acting as an Attorney. We advise on and prepare the new Lasting Powers of Attorney relating to both Finances and Welfare matters.
