The more serious criminal or military offences are dealt with at Court Martial and prosecuted by professionally qualified Legal Officers employed by the Service Prosecuting Authority (SPA).  Parker Bullen have solicitors who understand the Armed Forces who are able to represent you at the Court Martial hearing whether you are pleading guilty or not guilty to the charge.  You will also receive detailed advice in advance of the hearing in order to properly prepare your case.

You should be aware that due to recent changes in the provision of Legal Aid you may be required to make a significant financial contribution to the Legal Aid Authority well in advance of the hearing taking place.  In such cases you should approach Parker Bullen immediately, if you have not done so already, as we may well be able to offer our services on a private client basis at a cost substantially less than your Legal Aid contribution.

If you are convicted at Court Martial you have the right to appeal to the Court Martial Appeal Court (CMAC) against both finding and sentence.
