| Court of Protection
When a person is no longer mentally capable of managing their affairs and has not made an Enduring or Lasting Power of Attorney, then you may need to obtain a Receivership Order to enable you to handle their finances and property for them. We can act as Receiver if there is no one in the family who is able to act. An Attorney or Receiver may need to sell a house or make some other large transaction affecting another person’s property, in which case we can advise and obtain the approval of the Court if necessary.
